A read aloud project that promotes literacy, fosters a positive school culture, and encourages family engagement. Following a synchronous reading plan, learning opportunities emphasize literacy, STEM, project-based learning, social-emotional learning, and the joy of reading and learning.

3D printing resource for hands on learning in the classroom, AIG and the Media Center with multiple content areas to engage students and achieve learning goals. Through the technology, students creatively learn spatial reasoning, collaboration, perseverance, the engineering design process, adaptability and problem-solving.

Keyboards and sound equipment for band classrooms at the middle and high school that will allow students to learn about abstract music and science objectives in a hands-on way. Students will learn how to manipulate sound waves with their instruments and what that manipulation does to the overall sound of the performing ensemble.

A cultural experience for students to “travel” around the world, exploring different countries, traditions, and landmarks. Students receive a personalized passport and collect stamps as they learn about various cultures through food, music, storytelling, and interactive activities.

Expanding the outdoor classroom for the K-2 and 3-5 Go Green Clubs meeting monthly to learn about recycling, plant cycles, and soil health. Raised beds for larger group activities, supporting 53 students.

The Breakout for Success initiative will provide breakout box kits for Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) and professional development sessions to enhance collaboration, problem-solving, and engagement among teachers. To create, implement and solve the basic steps to successfully grow a home grown garden as a part of the Starmount Middle School gardening club. This includes a water catchment system, raised garden beds, and deliveries of compost ensuring the garden comes to life.
